Payments & Late Fees:

Lessons must be paid for at the time of booking in order to reserve your appointment. All sales are final, no refunds. Any terminated package will invalidate the promotional rate and all used hours will be billed at the most current hourly rate.

 

It is the responsibility of the student to keep track of payment plans and make payments on or before their due date. A $35 fee will automatically be added to all late payments.

Cancelation Policy:

A 24-hour notice is required if you need to reschedule your lesson. Less than 24-hour notice may result in loss of that hour without a refund. Less than 1 hour notice of result in an automatic loss of that hour without a refund. 

 

Conduct:

Crude or vulgar language or behavior/harassment will not be tolerated. Failure to abide by these rules may result in cancelation of lesson and/or full package  without a refund.

 

Choreography:

There is a $75 fee per completed minute of choreography (typically a 3-5 minute song will consist of 1.5-2.5 choreographed minutes).

Event Rental:

Weekday rates (Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM) are $35/hour. Evening and weekend rates (Monday-Friday 6:00 PM-9:00 PM, Saturday, and Sunday) are $50/ hour. Non-business hour rates (before 9:00 AM and after 9:00 PM) are $75/ hour. Responsible party, the undersigned, will hold liability for all guests and financial responsibility for studio fees and any damages. A credit card on file is required for any additional fees/damages. The party will be notified with an invoice before any charges are made. The studio must be left in the same condition and trash must be taken disposed of in designated area at the end of the event to prevent being charged an additional cleaning fee (starting at $35). A studio representative will be on site to help with any basic operations of the studio during your event. However, they are not responsible for setting up, breaking down, decorating, serving food/drinks, etc. If you would like an assistant during your event please notify us prior to your event date so we can schedule someone to assist you for an additional rate.

Liability Waiver and Acknowledgment of Risk:

I have notified my instructor if there are any health problems or conditions of which the studio should be aware of (such as heart, back, medical, allergy, muscular, pregnancy, diabetes, epilepsy, chemical or neurological condition, special medication, knee/kidney/shoulder problems, etc.) I understand that risk of injury is inherent in any physical activity and I, on behalf of myself and/or my child, knowingly and voluntarily accept that risk. I, the undersigned, for myself, my heirs, administrators, and executors, herby waive and release Vertical Expression Dance and its staff from any and all claims for damages of any kind arising out of my or my child's participation in the dance program of Vertical Expression Dance. I further certify that the aforementioned student is in proper physical condition to participate in the dance program. I, the undersigned, do herby authorize Vertical Expression Dance's designated agents (being teachers or administrators employed by Vertical Expression Dance) to obtain medical treatment for myself and/or my child in emergency situations where I cannot authorize the treating physician to provide such emergency medical services. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses and that the absence of health insurance does not make Vertical Expression responsible for payment of medical expenses. This authority includes the power of attorney and shall remain in effect of the duration of dance program.
